Carbon fiber tubes

Carbon fiber tubes

Carbon fiber is a new type of fiber material with high strength and high modulus containing more than 95% carbon, which has outstanding mechanical performance and anisotropic characteristics. Its tensile strength is 7-9 times that of steel, its density is 1/5 that of steel, and its modulus of elasticity is higher than that of steel. Carbon fiber is hardly used alone but is mostly added to resin, metal, ceramic, and other materials as reinforcing materials to form composite materials. At present, carbon fiber reinforced resin composite material is widely used, and its specific strength and modulus are relatively high among the existing structural materials, which can be used in aerospace, aviation, automobile, ship, industrial equipment, and other structural materials.

The main material of carbon fiber tubing we offer is carbon fiber (about 78% Vol. ) and epoxy resin. Common size carbon fiber tubes generally can be classified as pultrusion tubes, roll wrapping tubes, filament wound tubes, compression molding tubes, and more by the fabrication processes. Divided by shapes, there are square tubes, round tubes, hexagonal tubes, oval tubes, custom made special shaped tubes, etc. If you have a custom tube in need, please send us the drawings or designs for a quick quote.
